4 Arabic Proverbs To Reflect On

4 Arabic proverbs to reflect on

Proverbs always give us some form of learning or reflection that is worth analyzing in detail. This time we want to share some Arabic proverbs that we have embraced as part of our lives.

Whether it’s because of the importance of culture in history or because they simply provide a good lesson, they are worth paying attention to. Note and do not forget these Arabic proverbs in your daily life.

This is my favorite of the Arabic proverbs I have heard. It reminds us of the many times we have felt remorse after saying something. You do not even have to have an underlying desire to hurt the other person. You often make a comment that is not kind or even harsh, and that simply has not passed through the filter in your heart.

Every comment we make must pass through our heart’s filters. This tells us if it is an emotionally useful message for the listener. Sometimes, just by passing each word through our brain’s filter, we can discover whether it is logical or not. Hosting resentment is not healthy, but going around saying things that hurt others is not either.

This Arabic proverb is one I always try to remember, especially when it comes to love relationships. It is true that in circumstances there is no rule book or guidelines to follow. Each couple must make their own decisions. But if you have fallen victim to your partner’s infidelity and you continue to forgive and take back this time and again, you can no longer put the blame on your partner.

The message you send when you forgive infidelity after infidelity is that you, whether you are male or female, do not value yourself. If you can not see what you are worth and give yourself what you deserve in life, how can you expect someone else to do it?

I’m not saying you should never forgive this act, because it is necessary to move on. But I think we should learn to set boundaries. When the other person does not show you respect, it is best to let him go. This way, the person can search for what they want without hurting you even more.

I really believe in following my dreams and goals, and I think this is one of the Arabic proverbs that describes it. What this saying says is that you should always do something that makes a smile spread on your lips.

Your everyday life will always be more bearable if you do things you love. You will of course encounter problems and challenges, including chores that you do not like to do. But overcoming all this is easier when you love your main occupation.

There is nothing worse than dealing with people who look grim and treat people badly all day long. Do not become one of them.

At some point in our lives, we have all had to deal with people who are more than willing to make us feel bad. In the vast majority of these cases, they envy you in some way and try to hurt you emotionally.

You may feel tempted to give in to anger and do the same. However, the last of these Arabic proverbs reminds us of something that is very true: the worst treatment for these people is that you behave kindly towards them. However, it is not about being a hypocrite and treating them as if they were your best friends.

Simple kindness can often hurt them much more than anything else. If you meet these types of toxic people and try to avoid them without success , try kindness. They will disappear from your life so quickly that you will not even notice it. However, I’m talking about being kind and polite, not following their slightest hint. If they ask you for something you do not want or can do, just say “no”.

I am sure that these Arabic sayings will help you tackle the challenges of your daily life. You probably already knew them, but did not use them in everyday life because you simply forgot about them. Pay more attention to them and reflect on them all.
