3 Personality Types That Make You Unique

3 personality types that make you unique

Your personality type reveals who you really are. It includes all your physical traits as well as your mental ones, which makes you different from everyone else – all traits that make you unique. But sometimes we have wanted to identify with a group of people who possess the same traits or similarities. We are talking about different personality types.

There are various theories in this subject. Today we want to discuss one that distinguishes between personality types A, B and C. This classification of personalities was strongly criticized when it was published, and even today the debate continues.

Personality types A and B were established by Friedman and Rosenmann in 1959. These two types were total opposites. In this way, individuals could recognize themselves in one or the other more easily. This excluded the current problem of feeling like you have a bit of personality A and a bit of B.

But it was not until 1980 that Morris and Creer came up with the idea of presenting another personality, which they dubbed the “Type C personality”. This third type allowed people who could not identify with the previously described types to fit into a group. Or maybe not? Today we will discover what all these personality types reveal.

Do you know the people who always seem to be in a hurry? Is there anyone in your family who is dependent on their job? People who fit into this category are very hyperactive, energetic and incredibly productive. They would do anything for their jobs, and this also causes them to forget family and friends to some extent.

With all this , type A personality is characterized by competition orientation – the need to be better than others. Sometimes this can lead them to step on the toes of their fellow human beings to achieve what they want. This can result in great aggression which is manifested by slamming down on other people’s work and refusing help to people who need it.

For people with type A personality, work is something fundamental and irreplaceable in their lives. It’s their cell nucleus – the center of everything.

Based on this, people who fit into this group are sometimes cold; at least that’s the impression you get from them. They suppress their emotions, are insensitive and always seem tough and firm. Sometimes all this is a facade to suppress a horrific feeling of insecurity. Without a doubt, they are very susceptible to stress and anxiety.

Contrary to what we described above, people in this category are very calm. This type of person does not tend to be stressed very easily. Because of this, they often tend to arrive late, but do not get nervous about it. They have all the time in the world.

People with type B personality are also big lovers of sleep, so waking up early or sleeping less than eight hours does not fit directly into their plans. This means that they live a very peaceful life without pressure. In fact, they do not care about competing to be the best. They acknowledge and accept their limitations, and feel comfortable with who and what they are. They do not have to be better than anyone else.

People with this type of personality accept life just as it is, and let everything just flow.

Silhouette of man

One of the biggest characteristics of people with this type of personality is that they tend to be very empathetic and warm. They have no problem socializing because they attract others with their charming smiles. They are also very attractive due to the large amount of confidence they have. Usually, they also have high self-esteem.

The last of these personality types is the most controversial because it includes the most passive and submissive types of individuals. People who identify with this group feel defenseless in the face of certain stressful situations or unexpected events. No matter how hard they try, they can not help but feel helpless.

This causes them to often fall victim to abuse and manipulative people. This is because they seem submissive and conformist to what awaits. They are not capable of making decisions and are very afraid to do so. Their insecurity is much more severe than in people with personality type A.

People with type C personality suffer from continuous, emotional blockages that can have negative consequences for their health.

A characteristic of these people is that they hinder their emotions. So they keep their feelings to themselves. In this way, they swallow their anger, disappointment and sadness, and fail to express them for relief. This leads to severe depression problems.

Man in the sea

Did you identify with one of these groups? These personality types have many years on their necks, and many things have changed since then. Therefore, it has been a much criticized typology that for many lacked and still lacks relevance. What do you think? Which group do you think you belong to?
